They should have long hair secured away from the face (ponytail, bun, braids are all acceptable), a bit of stage makeup, and will perform barefoot (if your dancer owns flesh tone dance shoes they may wear these).

REHEARSAL/SHOW DAY: Wednesday, April 16. Derry Opera House

Performers should arrive at the Opera House dressed and ready for the stage at 5pm. Performers will be let in the stage door on the right side of the building. Audience members will be let in the front door at 6:40 for seating, and our show will begin promptly at 7pm. Please allow yourself time to find parking nearby to ensure you are not late! We anticipate a 30min show. Please plan to drop your dancer off at 5pm and return later to be seated for the show.

MEDIA:

A video viewer/download link of the full performance will be made available to parents within a few weeks following the performance. Non flash photography and video are permitted during the performance as long as you don’t disturb those around you.

PICK UP PROCEDURE:

Promptly after the show, we will have students gather their belongings and dismiss them at the side stage door for parents to pick them up.

WHAT TO SEND YOUR STUDENT WITH:

Send students with a labeled water bottle and a non-messy, nut free snack. They should arrive dressed and ready to perform. Please do not send extras that will distract such as toys or extra makeup. We’ve had quite a few lipstick parties when littles bring their own :)
